Families were able to meet their favourite Disney characters while having a buffet style cooked breakfast. The event was organised by TinyLife - Northern Ireland’s premature baby charity.

The characters - members of locally-based performing arts company Uplift - proved a huge hit with the children.

Gillian Breen, the charity’s community fundraiser, said: “TinyLife provides practical and emotional support to the parents of premature and vulnerable babies. It’s thanks to the support we get from local people and local businesses at fundraising events like this that we are able to continue to provide our services to families across Northern Ireland. Our thanks go to The Clarion Hotel for supporting this event and to the fabulous cast from Uplift”.

Every day in Northern Ireland seven babies are born too soon, some will arrive as early as 24 weeks and weigh as little as 1lb. For more information about TinyLife or to get involved in fundraising please contact Gillian on 028 9081 5050 or email [email protected]
